Landfill Zero: BA1 is certified and SC units are recertified Issued by Mohawk, the Zero Waste to Landfill (ZLF) certification is delivered to the group's units that achieve a percentage of reuse and/or recycling of at least 90% of all waste generated. In addition, certified units must have an adequate system for segregation and management of recyclable waste.

- Units SC 1, SC 2, SC 3, Central Mass SC: 99.98%
- Unit SC 4: 99.98%
- Unit BA 1: 98.93%
The positive impacts of not sending waste to landfill are diverse, among which the following stand out:

- Longer life of sanitary and industrial landfills;
- Greater job creation with retraining;
- Less use of natural resources and energy.
The certificates were issued on July 28, after validation by the international committee composed of Michel E. Gil – Environmental Health and Sustainability Engineer and Tina Clements – Material Recovery Manager.
