Marazzi People Initiatives: Fostering Wellbeing, Growth, and the Next Generation
At Marazzi, investing in people goes far beyond the workplace. Discover how initiatives like the PEOPLE-NESS program and Young T.I.L.E. are building a culture rooted in wellbeing, inclusivity, and the potential of the next generation.
- 650+ People Engaged
- 1,300+ Hours of training delivered
- 70%+ Of participants are women
Through a series of thoughtful programs and initiatives, Marazzi continues to build a workplace culture rooted in wellbeing, inclusivity, and opportunity — for employees at every stage of their careers.
Central to this effort is the PEOPLE-NESS program, launched in 2024 as a comprehensive training initiative designed for the entire company workforce. In just two years, PEOPLE-NESS has already delivered over 1,300 hours of training and engaged more than 650 employees, over 70% of whom are women. With the support of industry experts, the program addresses physical and mental wellbeing, diversity, and the improvement of workplace relationships — serving as a genuine path of personal and collective growth.
In 2025, PEOPLE-NESS expanded its reach even further. Cancer prevention became a key focus, with October dedicated to breast and urological cancer awareness, including specialist visits conducted directly on site, with particular attention given to production plant employees. The program has also encompassed training on diversity, equity and inclusion, financial wellbeing, and workplace safety — the latter delivered through an innovative safety comedy event designed to engage employees in an approachable and memorable way. The program’s growing impact and innovative approach earned it a feature at the “Learning More Festival,” the first festival in Italy dedicated to training, learning, and the development of human capital.
Complementing PEOPLE-NESS is Young T.I.L.E., Marazzi’s investment in the talent and creativity of the next generation. Every two years, employees under the age of 30 from Mohawk offices in Italy, Spain, Poland, and Bulgaria come together for an immersive learning experience designed to broaden their understanding of the company and its strategic direction. Working in teams with the guidance of a dedicated tutor, participants develop projects centered on themes that matter most to the business. In 2025, those themes included Artificial Intelligence, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility. The winning project proposed a reimagined onboarding process for Marazzi, grounded in DEI values, with the goal of making new employees feel more welcomed and included from day one.
Together, PEOPLE-NESS and Young T.I.L.E. reflect Marazzi’s broader commitment to its people — nurturing wellbeing, celebrating diversity, and empowering the voices that will shape the company’s future.
