With manufacturing operations in Europe, Oceania, Asia and South America, the segment has become a global leader in premium laminate, luxury vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, carpet, carpet tile and wood flooring with sales in approximately 130 countries.
In the European market, the segment is also a leading producer of panels (chipboards, medium density fiber board, melamine-faced panels and high-pressure laminate) and polyurethane insulation products. Flooring Rest of the World also licenses certain patents related to flooring manufacturing throughout the world. The segment sells its products through floor covering retailers, wholesalers, Company-operated distributors, independent distributors and home centers.

Chipboards
In 2022, 95% of the wood in our chipboards was recycled, reclaimed or recovered wood.
ReCover Program
Through our ReCover program, Unilin collects and recycles used vinyl flooring through external partners. In addition, this take-back program includes reusing click LVT by cleaning and repurposing the tiles for use in youth clubs and community centers.
Godfrey Hirst Wool Rugs
Godfrey Hirst recycles yarn waste rather than purchasing surplus virgin wool. Any remaining unused yarn is sold to suppliers for further repurposing.
Laminate Flooring
More than 90% of the wood used in our laminate flooring collections is recovered content from sources such as roadside maintenance and sawmills that would otherwise be burned or sent to landfills.
